LOOK: Popeyes is Coming to the Philippines!

Popeyes fans, it’s time to celebrate because it has been confirmed that Kuya J is bringing the popular fast food chain to the Philippines. According to Business Newswire, they have an exclusive master franchise agreement to grow Popeyes in the Philippines.

In case you haven’t heard of Popeyes, they’re a fast food chain popular for their chicken meals, including spicy chicken and chicken tenders. They also have fried shrimp and their famous Popeyes biscuit. (There’s a reason why Little Nicky fell absolutely in love with them!)

We personally can’t wait to get a taste of it here (we are also hoping that they’ll be providing rice meals to make our Filipino hearts happy – something we constantly wish for whenever we have Popeyes in Hong Kong).

It only took us 9 hours and 37 boxes to nail this sick chicken move #worthit

We are sure that Popeyes will do well here, thanks to its great taste – and with Kuya J at the helm, you can be sure that they’ll do their best to make the Filipino consumers happy and grow just as surely. Kuya J itself currently has 100 branches after just two years. How awesome is that? The group also owns Isla Sugbu Seafood City, Majestic, Tsay Cheng Chinese Cuisine, and the Grand Convention Center of Cebu.
