Team Bruins, a Filipino dragonboat team, won big at the recent international dragonboat festival held in Busan, South Korea.
The team brought home three silver and two bronze medals.
According to Napoleon Tolentino from Team Bruins:
We raised the flag of our country at the international stage of Dragonboat by winning 3 Silver and 2 Bronze. We paddled in the grand finals of the said event against strong teams from Russia, Chinese Taipei, Hongkong, and Australia. Bruins is a 3-year-old team and a member of the Philippine Dragonboat Federation.
