Yes, K-Drama stars IU and Park Seo Joon will be pairing up for an upcoming movie and the production is already in the works! The two have reportedly started shooting yesterday (May 7) for their upcoming film called ‘Dream’ led by ‘Extreme Job’ director, Lee Byung Hun.
The “Dream Team” also unveiled photos from the film’s table reading.

On their first day on set, Park Seo Joon expresses his excitement playing the role of Hong Dae – a professional soccer player whose life is about to change after unexpectedly becoming the coach of a special national soccer team. He says, “I’m excited for the time I’ll be spending as Hong Dae. I’ll do my best to deliver a great film to viewers.”
Meanwhile, ‘Dream’ will be IU (Lee Ji-Eun)’s debut in a feature film and says that she is grateful for the team she’s working with. “I’ll approach the project with both excitement and responsibility. I’m so happy to be working with actors and cast members who are always warm and welcoming and whom I have so much to learn from,” the Korean singer and actress said.
Park Seo Joon and IU’s upcoming film is set to premiere in 2021.
