There are many Mexican restaurants in Manila and most of them are good places to eat and drink. But, well, why settle for good when we know, out there, there is “great”? And so, in our search for great Mexican food (and the most delicious tacos), we found Encima Roofdeck Restaurant.
Encima specializes in Mexican food. Located at the roofdeck of City Garden Hotel Makati, the view there is amazing, giving you a wonderful backdrop of the city lights of the Philippines’ financial capital while you eat. It’s a perfect place for a night-cap or a date, if you ask me.
But, what we love most about it is their order-all-you-can promo for Php650 per head. The promo is called Everything Bottomless and it includes a wide array of Mexican food and…surprise! MARGARITA. The promo is available Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 11pm.
Perfect to pair with Margarita, Encima’s Nachos Suprema is made of crispy nacho corn chips topped with fresh ingredients like guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo.
A must-try is the Cigarillos Taquitos which are Tacos Dorados filled with pork and topped with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa verde.
Another special item in Encima’s menu is the Flautas. It is rolled taquitos served with crema avocado. Yum!
Ever-present in Mexican menus, Encima serves three kinds of burritos: Chicken, Steak, and Deep Fried Chimichanga.
Am, of course, Mexican menu will not be complete without Tacos. Our favorite! Encima offers them in pork, beef, or chicken.
Another favorite from the menu are the quesadillas and the fajitas. These are perfect especially if you are really hungry! (Like us, all the time.)
And, lastly, cap off an amazing order-all-you-can meal with these: classic glasses of oh-so-good Margarita.
