LOOK: New Death Note manga chapter might be published after 12 years

It’s been over a decade since we last saw anything about Death Note. The manga ended publication in 2006 and the only manga-related content that we’ve seen was a one-shot publication in 2008.

Now, it has been announced that after 12 years, a new one-shot manga chapter of Death Note may be published. It will be written by Tsugumi Ohba and drawn by Takeshi Obata. It will be published on Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine and Obata will run the magazine at some point.

In the February issue of Jump SQ. that was released on January 4 and on the magazine’s website, it was announced that the 87-page one-shot would be published in the next issue, which goes on sale February 4.
