LOOK: Nadine Lustre Claps Back at Jobert Sucaldito for Being ‘Unashamed’ of Mental Health Joke

Nadine Lustre has broken her silence to respond to entertainment writer and radio host Jobert Sucaldito after he once again voiced out his ire against ABS-CBN Network for dismissing him from DZMM after he had made a suicide “joke” about her on-air.

“You’re not seeing the bigger picture, Mr. Sucaldito. It’s messed up how you are completely unashamed of what [you] said. It’s never okay to push someone to commit suicide,” Nadine began on her post.

“I can’t believe you’re using this issue to fight out home network whose only objective is to protect us. Kahit pagbali-baliktarin mo, mali yung sinabi mo. Inalis ka sa trabaho dahil MALI YUNG SINABI MO (Even if you take a look at in in different angles, what you said was wrong. You were fired because what you said was wrong) and how [the hell] is this even on congress?! Someone enlighten me. [Please].”

She continued in a succeeding post: “Ikaw na nga yung sinabihan na tumalon tapos parang kasalanan mo pa?? (You were the one who was told to jump, and yet you’re made to feel like it’s your fault??) [I’m] sick and tired of these boomers treating mental issues like it’s a [m*****f***ing] joke. Ayoko na. Di ko na kaya mga ganap mamsh! (I’m done. I can’t deal with what’s happening guys!)”

Jobert came under fire last January for his insensitive remark about Nadine in retaliation to her calling out fellow entertainment writer Ricky Lo who had attributed her then-rumored breakup with James Reid to her mental health.

“‘Di ba iyon naman ang gusto nila? Kuno-kuno na may mga labas ng puwet, naka T-back pa doon sa building, tapos may mga nakalagay na caption na parang gustong tumalon sa building. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala (Isn’t that what they want? They show off their butts, wear T-backs, and put a caption about wanting to jump from a building. She should have jumped if that’s the case),” he had said.

Although he has since apologized, Jobert continues to speak out on his “unlawful dismissal” from his show.
