Mon Confiado isn’t only preparing for the release of his new Korean film “The Golden Holiday,” which we had previously reported here. Apparently, the veteran actor is also looking forward to another film he shot a few years ago that’s coming real soon!
Titled “Turncoat,” the film is set in the United States and stars Confiado as the lead together with Italian actress Annaluisa Capasa. It is helmed by Filipino-American indie director Marcial Chavez and will follow the story of a man who must suddenly face the demons from his past that he didn’t know he had.
According to Confiado’s post, the synopsis is as follows:
A mild mannered man lives a happy and quiet life with his Italian wife in [Los Angeles]. Suddenly mysterious people [are] telling him he was a former hitman in Manila and charging that he is someone else for whom they’ve been looking. Is this a case of mistaken identity or he has a history no one knows about? He must confront his violent past.
