Celebrity vlogger Michelle Dy broke down in tears in front of the camera following the news of the passing of her dear friend, YouTube personality Lloyd Cafe Cadena.
On Instagram, Michelle openly grieved as she played a Mariah Carey song in the background in honor of Lloyd, who is known to be a huge fan of the American singer.
She then wrote a heartfelt letter to him, revealing just how much he meant to her.
“Lord, why did you take away the only one I had,” she began. “I love you so much Lloyd…and I thank the Lord that I was able to [make] you feel how much you mean to me…I don’t regret anything because I know deep inside I expressed how much I love you and how much I appreciated you and I know you felt that.”
She shared that, unbeknownst to all, Lloyd was the very first person to check up on her whenever she was “going through something online and offline.”

“Si Lloyd ang unang [mag-tetext] sa akin…As simple as ‘I love you’ ‘yan ang una niyang text, and after that he will save me. He will save the day. Siya ang sasalo sa akin.”
“We [didn’t] have so much friends, because we knew that both of us, alam namin na pareho kami… Laging namismisinterpret,” she continued.
“We both had strong personalities that not a lot could handle… but sa aming dalawa, we were our safe place. I was the only one that could handle him, and he was the only one that could handle me.”
Her final Instagram story was a screenshot of their private chat wherein they exchanged “I love you’s.”
Lloyd passed away on September 4, Friday, as revealed on a post on his official Facebook page. He was 26-years-old.
