After placing in the Top 15 of the Miss Globe 2018, Michele Gumabao isn’t hanging up her heels just yet!
On Instagram, the volleyball star announced that she has sent her application for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 beauty pageant which is scheduled to be held on May 3.

“Trading in my sneakers one more time. Submitted my application to be part of the first ever Miss Universe Philippines. Hello, 2020,” she wrote on her post.
Michele is trained by Aces and Queens, the same beauty camp of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, and Miss World 2013 Megan Young. She is set to represent Quezon City in Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
It was in 2018 when she joined Binibining Pilipinas, the former holder of the Miss Universe franchise, where she won as the Philippines representative for Miss Globe. She was part of the winning batch that included Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman.
