The full cast of the “How I Met Your Mother” sequel has officially been revealed!

How I Met Your Father

The spin-off, titled “How I Met Your Father,” was first announced last April with “Lizzie McGuire” star Hilary Duff as the main lead Sophie, a millennial living in the year 2021 who is in the midst of figuring out who she is, what she wants out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

Since the news broke out, fans have been wondering who will be cast alongside her to make up the friend group around whom the show will revolve just like the original. Now, the wait is over because The Hollywood Reporter finally dropped the announcement.

Here they are!

Tom Ainsley (“The Royals”) will play Charlie, an aspiring model who falls in love with Valentina at the London Fashion Week and follows her all the way back to New York. As the son of conservative aristocrats, Charlie will now have to learn how to live life outside of his comfort zone of lavish riches.

Tien Tran (“Space Force”) will portray Ellen, Jesse’s adopted sister who moves to New York from a small farming town after separating from her wife and now has to cope with the uncomfortable hustle of city living.
