Matteo Guidicelli went on Instagram to write a sweet message for his wife Sarah Geronimo in time for their second anniversary.
He wrote, “Through thick and thin and all the ups and downs, we will be partners for life.”
Guidicelli added, “I love you, my beautiful wife! You’re the best. Happy 2nd year anniversary!”
The post featured photos of the couple in various poses.
The longtime lovers officially exchanged “I do’s” in their civil wedding ceremony on February 20, 2020.
Instead of enjoying their ceremony, however, the couple reportedly ended up getting into a scuffle with Jerry Tamara, one of Geronimo’s close-in security detail, and her mother, Divine.
In a news article released by CNN Philippines, Taguig police confirmed that Guidicelli allegedly punched Tamara in the throat after learning that Divine had “arrived unexpectedly” at the wedding.
Allegedly, it was Tamara who had informed Divine about the wedding which was taking place in the evening. She said she was unaware of the ceremony and wanted to confront her daughter about it.
Earlier reports have revealed that Geronimo’s mother did not approve of her relationship with Guidicelli.
