Mariel Rodriguez has now left the country to give birth to her second child with actor Robin Padilla in the US.
“Here we are embarking on another journey…. making sacrifices and doing what’s best for our children,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
She thanked her husband for the trip and said that she misses him already. “When we see you next time we will be with Gabriela,” she added, referring to her soon-to-be-born daughter.

It was only last month when Mariel revealed her plans to travel to the US to give birth to Gabriela.
“I want to be able to give my baby the same attention I gave Isabella when I gave birth to her,” Mariel shared in an interview with Ricky Lo. “I was 100 percent with Isabella, so I want to give the same peaceful atmosphere to our new baby. No one will bother us, no one will visit us. You know what I mean? So I want to be able to give her that.”
Mariel also gave birth to her firstborn, Isabella, in the US in 2016. Robin also failed to be with her back then because he didn’t have a US Visa.
