Bela Padilla has become the subject of headlines recently after a terrifying experience with a stalker.
Earlier this week, Bela was caught filing a formal complaint against a man who she claims had tried to enter her condominium residence. Allegedly, the man introduced himself to the condominium guards as Bela’s classmate and boyfriend but was refused entrance.
According to a report of events provided by Bela, she said that the man kept insisting to the guards to let him through. She then requested for the barangay officials to drop by and sent her friend and neighbor to talk with them. Meanwhile, she stayed over at her friend’s unit to avoid being alone in her own home.
After a while, the man left–but the story didn’t end there. Reportedly, the man even messaged Bela’s hairstylist to say how much he loved her and wanted to see her.

Fans took to social media to express their worry over the actress’s safety, but she assured them that she is alright. She also said that her scary encounter won’t change how she is as a person.
“A friend tried to comfort me by saying ‘that’s what’s hard when you’re kind.’ But I refuse to change and be mean because of a person who tried to harm me. It’s not my fault if I am kind, it’s his fault that he did something wrong. Don’t let your heart harden because of anyone,” she said.
