LOOK: Logo of IKEA Philippines is Officially Up and Complete!

As we inch closer to the opening of the much-awaited IKEA store in the Philippines, the furniture store has finally put up its iconic yellow logo, filling Filipinos all over Metro Manila with excitement!

The Mall of Asia shared snapshots on its social media account of the completed “IKEA” signage superimposed on the still-under-construction blue building. “Yes, it is finally up! The iconic IKEA logo is completed. We are excited for the first and flagship store in the Philippines only at the SM Mall of Asia Complex!” the caption read.

Located between SMX Convention Center and Mall of Asia Arena and built to be the size of 150 basketball courts, IKEA Manila is set to be the largest IKEA branch in the whole world employing at least 500 workers and employees.

IKEA will first be launching an e-commerce shop where Filipinos can safely and conveniently browse and purchase from its catalog of furniture items in the comfort of their homes starting July 2021. This will be followed by the physical opening of IKEA Manila nine weeks after, sometime between September and October 2021.

IKEA Manila is planned to be composed of two floors, consisting of the market hall, the showrooms, and IKEA-owned restaurants, as well as a huge warehouse and its own parking space. It was initially announced that it will have a product catalog of 9,000 well-designed items that are ready-to-assemble upon purchase.
