LOOK: Local Remake of ‘Voltes V’ is Coming Much Sooner Than You Think

It was back in July when it was confirmed that beloved Japanese cartoon Voltes V was going to be remade locally into a live-action adaptation, but any news about it pretty much ended there.

Voltes V

Director Mark Reyes, known for his works Encantadia, Moments of Love, and several variety shows on GMA Network, has shared a teaser clip of the upcoming Voltes V remake on Instagram. In the video, it hinted that there’s going to be a huge announcement on December 31 during GMA’s New Year Countdown show.

“After 5 years,” Mark wrote on the caption together with the hashtags “finally,” “dream project,” and “here we go.”
