Wedding bells are soon ringing for actress LJ Reyes!
On Instagram, the 35-year-old shared photos of the proposal of her non-showbiz boyfriend, Philip Evangelista, at the beach as she quoted a bible verse about having faith in God’s timing.
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope,'” she wrote.

LJ has been living in New York City with her two sons, Aki and Summer, since September 2021 following her highly publicized separation from actor Paolo Contis whom she was with for six years.
Plenty of her friends in the industry swarmed the comments section of her post to send congratulatory messages.
“Awwww #happiness,” wrote Marian Rivera.
“Maaaaars!!!! So so happy for you!!!! Kaya ka pala nananahimik dyan ah!!!!” gushed Camille Prats.
“Awww gf!!!!!!! Ang saya saya ko para sayo!” said Ryza Cenon.
Carla Abellana, Iza Calzado, Melai Cantiveros, Nadine Samonte, Andrea Torres, Melissa Ricks, Isabel Oli-Prats, Christine Reyes, Rocco Nacino, Joyce Ching, and Gary Valenciano also expressed their well wishes to the newly-engaged couple.
