LOOK: Legends of the Hidden Temple Movie Now Has Posters!

We are living in the era of nostalgia. For those looking forward to the Hey Arnold! TV movie, we have great news for you: another Nickelodeon show is getting a TV movie, and the posters are out! Legends of the Hidden Temple is the latest in a series of sequels, reboots, and remakes that is prevalent in Hollywood and entertainment.

However, the TV movie will not follow the reality show competition format that ’90s kids followed, but will be a fictional movie. Don’t worry, as elements from the competition will still appear!

The Legends of the Hidden Temple movie will follow Noah, Sadie, and Dudley, three siblings who join a jungle tour. Disappointed, they stray from the tour and are thrust into an obstacle of survival. It will feature Olmec, the giant talking stone head that guided contestants in the competition, as well as the Steps of Knowledge, the entrance to the temple, and some creatures from the show’s teams: a green monkey, a silver snake, and a red jaguar.

Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced Olmec, will reprise his role in the movie. Host Kirk Fogg will return as a fictionalized version of himself.

Legends of the Hidden Temple ran on Nickelodeon from 1993 to 1995, and is described as a combination of Jeopardy and Raiders of the Lost Ark. In each episode, duos must go through challenges related to history, mythology, and geography, culminating in the winning duo going through a temple to retrieve a historical artifact.

The show was well-received, and actress Brie Larson said it was her favorite show as a child.

The movie was announced last March, with Isabela Moner, Colin Critchley, anx Jet Jurgensmeyer starring as the siblings. Joe Menendez is the director.

The show will premiere on Nickelodeon this fall, but there is no word when exactly.
