In a recent Instagram post by LeBron James, he displayed his new tattoo in memory of Kobe Bryant. The tattoo is a black mamba, Africa’s longest venomous snake (as it was Kobe’s nickname), along with Kobe’s jersey numbers ‘8’ and ’24’, two roses, and the phrase “Mamba 4 Life.” He captioned the post with “❤️ My brother ♾ #Mamba4Life #RIPKobe #RIPGiGi” along with a photo of them together.
Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant passed away last month in a helicopter crash in the LA County suburb of Calabasas.
Meanwhile, Kobe celebrated LeBron for passing him on the NBA’s all-time scoring list and tells LeBron to “keep growing the game and charting the path for the next [generation]” in his very last Instagram post.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ also paid a pregame tribute to Kobe where LeBron delivered a powerful speech saying, “So in the words of Kobe Bryant, ‘Mamba Out,’ but in the words of us, ‘Not forgotten.’ Live on, brother.”
