Julia Barretto has responded to pregnancy reports that broke out on Monday, September 21, after a veteran newscaster posted allegations on his Facebook account that she is expecting a child with Gerald Anderson.
On Instagram, the 23-year-old actress quashed the rumor by sharing a jaw-dropping photo of herself showing off her well-toned abs. “FAKE NEWS :)” she announced on her caption.

Many of her friends, family, and fans then flooded the comments to express their support.
A representative of Star Magic also told ABS-CBN News that the rumor was “definitely not true.”
In the post, the newscaster sent his “congratulations” to Gerald and Julia for allegedly bearing a child while in quarantine. “Napatunayan nina Visoy (visayan tisoy) Gerald Anderson at anak nina Dennis Padilla at Marjorie na si Julia Barreto na kapuwa hindi sila baog,” he said. “May nabuo sa sinapupunan ni Julia.”
