Jodi Sta. Maria proves that it’s never too late to reach for your dreams and finish your education!
On an Instagram story she posted on June 5, the 38-year-old actress revealed that she had just passed her final thesis defense and is officially ready for her college graduation!

“Wanted to share this with all of you! I passed my final defense this afternoon,” she said on her post. “Being grilled for more than [three] hours was no joke but I must say all the sleepless nights, the sacrifices [and] the hours spent in front of the computer to source out materials for my paper were worth it.”
“Marching soon!” she added at the end.
She then took to Twitter to express her gratitude to everyone who congratulated her on her achievement. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for me and those who sent messages of encouragement,” she wrote. “Maraming salamat! Malapit na ang graduation!! (Thank you so much! Graduation is coming soon!)”

Jodi is currently taking up BS Psychology in Southville International School and Colleges in Las Piñas through the INNOVE Education Solution where she also graduated High School. She was named the top student several times.
“I’m glad that Southville has the INNOVE Program that made studying more convenient for me. As an artista (actress), I know that it is important to finish schooling and for me, age is not something to be shy about. It is good to have a diploma knowing that you have a fallback,” said Jodi at the time of her enrollment in June 2017.
