LOOK Honest Taxi Driver Goes to a Radio Station to Report Bag Left in Cab

With all the negative news going around, it’s nice to hear about a good samaritan who will restore our faith in humanity. Nestor Custodio Jr. is one of those people. Nestor, a cab driver, is quickly gaining popularity online as the taxi driver who went to a radio station just to report a bag that was left inside his cab.

The Tambayan ni Berto Facebook page shared Nestor’s story:

(Nestor Custodio Jr. is a driver of Larajophil Transport. He went to our radio station (Manila Broadcasting Company) at 8:30pm and brought a big and heavy bag with clothes and important documents. He said that he picked up a man named John Eric Penecios at NAIA and dropped him off at Coastal Mall. John didn’t notice that the passenger left a bag, so when the passenger left, he went on his way. Shortly, he got another passenger who claimed that the bag was his. Luckily, Nestor remembered that the bag belonged to the first passenger and did not give it. He went to our station to report and announce it on Papa Jack’s program on 90.

7 Love Radio. Nestor didn’t think about opening the bag and keeping the items. His first thought was to bring it to us and announce it on the radio.)

After the radio announcement, John Eric, an OFW from Tagbilaran who works in the United Arab Emirates, heard about the announcement and quickly claimed his bag.
