Comedienne Herlene Budol, aka “Hipon Girl,” has achieved a new milestone in her life!
Herlene took to Instagram to share her pictures from the commencement exercises of the College of Saint John Paul II where she graduated with a degree in tourism management. In her posts, she dedicated her achievement to her family, most especially to her grandparents Nanay Bireng and Tatay Oreng, whom she called “priceless blessing[s]” in her life. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without your inspiration & support,” she wrote.

She even brought with her a framed photo of Nanay Bireng, who had passed away due to kidney failure last month. She held it as she received her special award for “Face of (CSJP) College and Saint John Paul” onstage.
Herlene, aged 22, is currently among the 40 Binibining Pilipinas pageant contestants competing to win any of the four titles, namely Bb. Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, Bb. Pilipinas Globe, and Bb. Pilipinas Grand International. She recently made jaws drop with her Higantes Festival-inspired costume designed by Patrick Isorena and Herbert Ebok Pinpiño for the national costume competition held last July 16.

The Binibining Pilipinas coronation night will be held on July 31 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and will be hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves.
