“Hi Ms. Iza! What happened to your hand?” one follower asked.

“Not sure but whatever it is, you need not worry because I am currently typing this message with all 10 fingers still intact. Thanks for the concern,” Iza replied.

“I am just worried on the editing part! Super obvious.. no offense meant Ms Iza but you are way more beautiful without photoshop.. ang braso at daliri nyo po (your arm and fingers are a) #photoshopfail,” another fan said.

“I do not think the fingers were photoshopped it could have just been the placement of my fingers at that time but my arms definitely edited hehe!” Iza told her. “Don’t worry I don’t feel less or more beautiful because of these edits. I just have come to accept that sometimes this is the vision they have in mind. Bow. Maybe one day I will have a more ‘raw and natural’ cover. Hehe! I am very grateful to be part of this cover and I hope we just celebrate it because the whole team worked SOOOOOO hard to get this done. Salamat! Mabuhay!”

Meanwhile, another follower shared: “It’s not the first time na (that) a photoshop error occurred sa isang (in a) magazine cover. Well focus na lang tayo sa ganda nila physically and representation nila (Well, let’s focus instead on their physical beauty and their representation) as independent women.”

Iza thanked her for her great mindset. She added: “[To be honest] I would rather not be photoshopped (because I try my best to promote body acceptance) but not much I can do here or for other shoots especially if it’s a big group and yes sometimes the edit is not smooth or is very obvious but looking at the bigger picture (beyond the minute mishaps) is best. Glad you can discern properly and wish more people were like you. Mabuhay!”
