Bea Alonzo couldn’t help but be proud of her costar and former loveteam partner, John Lloyd Cruz, after she caught wind of his COVID-19 relief efforts in Cebu for the past weeks.
On a social media post by sugbo.ph, John Lloyd was seen giving away food and medicine to medical frontliners, senior citizens, and workers in Brgy. Guadalupe, Cebu City.
Bea shared the photos on her Instagram stories and praised her close friend for his good deed. “Proud of you,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Bea has been spending most of her days organizing her own COVID-19 relief efforts, such as cooking meals to frontliners, donating snacks and medical supplies to hospitals, delivering relief goods to solo parents, through her I Am Hope foundation.
As of writing, the foundation has raised over PHP9 million in cash and in-kind donations.
