LOOK: Here’s the Cast of Netflix’s Live-Action “Resident Evil” Series

Netflix has revealed the full cast of its upcoming live-action series adaptation of the beloved game “Resident Evil!”

To those who are only now hearing about this news, Netflix is currently working on a series about the popular survival horror game that will be set nearly three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, a man-made mutagenic plague, that was created by the Umbrella Corporation and has been used as a catalyst for producing various bio-weapons.

The full cast features Ella Balinska (“Charlie’s Angels” (2019)), Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph (“Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina”), Paola Nuñez, and Lance Reddick (“John Wick”) as Dr. Albert Wesker, captain of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team.

The show will be eight episodes long. No premiere date has been set.

Meanwhile, Netflix is also gearing up to release its other new “Resident Evil” movie, titled “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness,” which will be CG-animated. It will be set in 2006 with characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield facing off against a horde of bio-weapons. It will be released on the streaming site on July 8, 2021.
