Halsey just dropped the biggest surprise announcement today: she’s going to be a mom!
The 26-year-old singer shared a series of photos on Instagram revealing her baby bump as she posed for photographer Sam Damashek in her simple pregnancy shoot. “surprise!” she captioned on her post.

Halsey also tagged her mystery man and presumably the father of her child, writer-producer Alev Aydin, who she has “been dating for several months,” according to People. They have kept their relationship rather lowkey, though they were spotted having gotten matching tattoos on the foot together.
She also composed a sweet message for him on New Year’s Eve: “Grateful for you this year and every year, sweets. Seni çok seviyorum (I love you so much).”
The “Without Me” hitmaker previously opened up to Vulture back in 2017 about suffering from miscarriages due to endometriosis, which is often a painful disorder in which tissue that is similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus starts growing outside of it. However, she told The Guardian in a recent interview that she had a favorable prognosis.
In celebration of her “miracle baby,” Halsey tweeted out “my rainbow” with a rainbow emoji, which is a reference to what healthy children born after the loss of a prior baby are called (“rainbow babies”).
Halsey previously dated American Horror Story star Evan Peters in 2019, though it’s unknown when they decided to break up.
