The Villamaria Kitchen is a homegrown food brand established in 2020 and grew as an instant favorite among people who love Szechuan cuisine.

Celebrating the Lunar New Year, they’ve got quite a flavorful lineup of dishes you can enjoy at home!

First up is their iconic Lucky Ma La Pata. Pork is a symbol of good wealth so it would be good to have that on the table. Their Ma La pata is fall-off-the-bone, cooked for 5-6 hours until tender. It’s best paired with hot rice, noodles, or cuapao.

Their Pork Pata is definitely one of my favorites thanks to its super flavorful sauce and extra tender and juicy meat!

Of course, any Filipino feast should always have some kind of noodle dish. So, you’ve got to get The Villamaria Kitchen’s Lucky Chinese New Year Stir Fry Ma La Platter.

It includes chicken fillet for luck, dumplings for wealth, and noodles for health and longevity. It also has your favorite street balls like squid balls, chicken balls, mushroom balls, and lobster balls. And to add more texture, it has shitake and enoki mushrooms too. It’s stir-fried in their secret Ma La oil and poured on a bed of egg noodles.

Pro tip: dip the stir-fried noodles in the Ma La Pata sauce for an added boost of flavor!

And lastly, new on the menu is their Ma La Arrozcaldo. It’s a combination of hot porridge with chicken ma la, chicken balls, shiitake mushrooms, and garlic. This new dish is currently a crowd favorite because it’s perfect to enjoy in the chilly weather.

These three bestsellers from The Villamaria Kitchen will surely make your Lunar New Year a delicious and flavorful celebration!
