LOOK: Former OFW Travels to 47 Provinces in Just 3 Months

There are people whose urge to hit the road is so strong that given the right push, they’d let go of everything, pack their bags, and travel.

Here’s the story of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who, after leaving her job in Saudi Arabia, decided to go back to the Philippines and explore its beauty. Starting from the northern part of the country, Paula Dahlia Mendoza, went out to travel to 47 provinces in 94 days.

Her story, which she posted on her Facebook page, Balikbayang Liwaliw, will inspire anyone to take the risk, leave the workforce, and travel. For someone who had been an OFW for quite a long time, Mendoza admitted to having feelings bottled up, as she worked away from her home country. Hoping she’d change them with new beautiful memories, she decided to travel the Philippines in three months.

Her wish to pay herself back for all those years she worked as an OFW made her do it…alone. And, her belief in the beauty of the Philippines further fueled her eagerness to delve into every part of it. Check out some gorgeous snaps from her travels below:
