For those who want a piece of President Rodrigo Duterte, it’s now possible because Duterte action figures exist!
The toys were made by toymaker Dennis Mendoza, and he personally presented the collection to the president earlier this week at the Malacañan Palace.
Mendoza first made a Duterte toy on the last night of the then-Davao City mayor’s presidential campaign. To date, there are 13 variations, including the president giving the middle finger, riding a motorcycle, and dressed up as the Punisher, a Marvel vigilante who uses murder, kidnapping, extortion, and threats of violence to fight crime.
Mendoza has also made figures of daughter Sara Duterte and Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
