It seems that the local remake of popular Korean Drama Descendants of the Sun is ending very soon now that Dingdong Dantes has revealed to fans and followers that they have reached the final day of taping for the series.
On Instagram, the lead actor opened up about his thoughts on shooting the finale as he shared photos from the final script reading.
“Script reading for Lucas and Maxeneโs last scene with Direk Dominic Zapata. Today, we finished our taping for DotsPH, and weโre set to bring back fresh episodes soon,” he said. He also praised his costar, Jennylyn Mercado, for her “excellent and effective performance.”
“Maraming salamat. โPass your papersโ na kami,” he added.
On a separate post, he also paid tribute to the character he portrayed in the series. “Been wearing these boots for almost a year now to give life to Capt. Lucas Manalo. Now, it is time to loosen these laces to make way for the next journey. Mission accomplished!”
It has yet to be announced when the show will end.
