Actress Dimples Romana is celebrating her latest achievement as an entrepreneur!
Her newest venture comes in the form of a restaurant called Alegria Singapura which she just recently opened in Singapore, thanks to her business partners located there. The restaurant specializes in non-traditional Latin American and Asian dishes and is already being enjoyed by locals and fellow Filipinos abroad.
“The past week has been a blast as our Team Alegria in Singapore has been experienced and enjoyed by locals and our fellow Filipinos – the food, the ambiance, the drinks,” Dimples said in her Instagram post. “A BIG THANK you to everyone who keeps sending us and tagging us their photos, videos of their food and dining experience. You guys are the best!!!”
Some of the dishes being offered are tacos, carne asada, elotes, oysters, quesadilla, and avocado ice cream. Alegria also has branches around Metro Manila.

Aside from opening her new international restaurant, Dimples also opened up about putting up a school for acting and personality development.
“We plan to invite my co-actors, my mentors who I honor and learned from these past years, who now choose to pass on their legacy through teaching, and share the same initiative and are now limited to working because of age restrictions, limited production opportunities and some because they’re unable to shoot for now because of health reasons – TO TEACH with us,” she said in an Instagram post last April.
“Our new school will teach techniques in acting, hosting and branding of oneself that I have personally developed over 24 years in showbiz. Our school will be open to aspiring artists, actors, actresses, hosts, brand ambassadors AND ALSO to non-media-related students.”
Classes will be held online and are open to people all over the world, from ages six to 65.
