Actress Dimples Romana just received an accolade from the international school she’s been taking online classes at for getting high marks in her grades!
“Gusto ko na lang maiyak (I just want to cry),” Dimples said in her Instagram post as she shared a photo of the New York University School of Professional Studies Gold Standard Badge she received following her completion of her Strategic Planning for Marketers course.
“Got this SURPRISE on my email from @nyuniversity where I’ve been taking courses to further my knowledge needed for our new businesses and endeavors as a family. Here’s the highly coveted @nyuniversity School of Professional Studies GOLD STANDARD badge for my course!”
“Apparently this badge is awarded to you when you have A for grade,” she explained. “You are even encouraged to put this badge on your LinkedIn account to let people know that you have finished courses with this badge and they’ll know your expertise. The opportunity alone of being in that course was already a huge blessing, learning from the experts, meeting amazing people, super icing on the cake this recognition!”

Dimples was also able to dedicate her Gold Standard Badge to her family who continues to inspire her “to push forward every day.”
“P.S. Akala nitong si Daniela sya lang may pa-GINTO ah, hoy #OhDani Meron din ako nyan (Daniela thought she’s the only one who has gold, #OhDani I have that too!),” she added in jest, referencing her character in “Kadenang Ginto.”

Just recently, Dimples shared that she had opened a restaurant in Singapore called Alegria Singapura specializing in non-traditional Latin American and Asian dishes. She also has plans to put up a school for acting and personality development.
