Following the news that Nadine Lustre went on a mountain hike with James Reid, the 27-year-old actress has asked netizens and reporters to get their facts straight.
She expressed her ire over people who thought she had hiked only wearing bikini bottoms after a photo of her in hiking attire but no pants surfaced online. In her Instagram stories, Nadine explained that she had just gone swimming and was letting her shorts dry when the photo was taken.
“I can’t believe people really assumed that I hiked in a bikini,” she wrote. “Balakayodiyan. Babalik na ko sa ulap.”
She also informed fans and followers that she did not have a Twitter account. “Di na ba uso fact checking ngayon? 2021 na o. anuba,” she said.
