Derek Ramsay went on his Instagram to warn the public of a scammer who is using his name to invite girls over to a party.
According to the screenshot he posted, the anonymous person posing as fashion blogger Jamila Joyce Castillo sent texts to other female social media influencers asking for help to assist Derek in arranging a stag party.

“Hey guys this crap has been going around for years and it still hasn’t stopped!!!” Derek wrote on his Instagram post. “[Please] know that I have nothing to do with this person texting these things.”
The screenshot comes from Jamila Joyce’s Facebook post dated September 9 in which she shared evidence of the scammer telling her friend that three women were needed in the stag party to pose as the girlfriends of Derek and his friends. The scammer further said that the women will be paid PHP150,000 each as talent fee.
Both Derek and Jamila Joyce have asked their friends and fans to message them if ever they have information about the person responsible for the scam.
