LOOK: CLOY’s Kim Jung Hyun And Seo Ji Hye are set to reunite in “Dinner Mate”

If you cried over the tragic ending to Seo Dan and Gu Seung Jun’s love story (like I did) then you’ll be over the moon to know that Seo Ji Hye and Kim Jung Hyun will be reuniting on upcoming k-drama Dinner Mate.

The downside is, it looks like they still won’t be getting their happy ending.

Based on a popular webtoon, Dinner Mate follows two people “who have grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreaks.” Seo Ji Hye’s Woo Do Hee serendipitously meets Song Seung Heon’s Kim Hae Kyung following a break-up and the two strike up an unlikely friendship.

Gu Seung Jun will be guest-starring as Lee Young Dong, Woo Do Hee’s former lover in the first episode. Recently released stills depict the long-term couple bickering, possibly right before the end of their relationship.

Dinner Mate will air on May 25, 2020 and will run until July 14, 2020. It is set to have 32 episodes and will release 2 episodes at a time.
