Beyond the dark, flashing lights inside Valkyrie at The Palace comes the pumping beats from DJs, local and international alike. Spending Chinese New Year at the upscale club was a great way of exuding that Kung Hei Fat Choy spirit, especially when the people who provided the beats are renowned DJs Ace Ramos, Mars Miranda, and HATHORIS.
The first few steps upon arriving, what greets you is a sight of dancing, bright lights, and socializing. It was the Chinese New Year party. Upon the WIM team’s arrival, the Resident DJ at Valkyrie and Pool Palace Club, Mars Miranda, was playing his mixes whilst listeners pump their fists and bop their heads along with the beat.
In the middle of the night, Valkyrie at The Palace brought out the all-too-familiar red/gold Chinese Dragon which was lifted and swayed in the air; definitely staying true to the season’s spirit. In the picture above, you will also see a still of the choreography done by the lovely women, dressed in red with Chinese buns, in Valkyrie.
The golden night carried on with a livelier atmosphere as the DJ from Indonesia, HATHORIS, started her set with infectious beats. The crowd gathered in front and swayed their bodies, dancing the night away. Properly induced with alcohol and the lively spirits of the party-goers of the club, it was truly an exciting time celebrating the Lunar New Year in Valkyrie.
