One of the biggest beauty influencers of YouTube just got the biggest scare of her life.
On her social media this weekend, NikkieTutorials (real name Nikkie de Jager), revealed that she and her fiancé Dylan Drossaers were “attacked” and robbed in their own home in The Netherlands.

“Earlier today one of my biggest nightmares became reality when we got robbed under gun point at our own home,” the 26-year-old personality wrote in a statement.
“Dylan and myself got attacked but physically we’re okay. Mentally it’s a whole other story. I’m writing this message for now to let you know that we are ‘okay’ and safe. Thank you for understanding as I take the next couple of days to myself.”
Many of her fellow YouTube beauty influencers, such as Jeffree Star, James Charles, Manny MUA, and Patrick Starrr, as well as her numerous fans worldwide, poured out messages of concern, love, and comfort amid this traumatic event.
According to a report by The Independent, the East-Brabant police had also tweeted about a robbery that took place that same day in Uden, where Nikkie and Dylan live. The tweet described “at least three perpetrators” escaping an unidentified home “with possibly a firearm.” They also said that “one of the residents suffered superficial injuries.” It was not shared what had been taken from the robbery.
