Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla is the latest Filipino celebrity to be paired up with a Korean actor for an upcoming movie.
Initially reported by Korean pop culture news website, Soompi, the film project titled Ultimate Oppa will star Padilla and Kim Gun Woo, who is known best for his 2017 debut drama Fight My Way. Kim’s agency, Good People, also confirmed the news on Instagram.
According to Soompi, the film will follow the story of a Korean talent manager who meets a Filipino fan of Korean celebrities. It will be shot in both the Philippines and South Korea.
Ultimate Oppa will be a joint project of Viva Entertainment and Reality Entertainment. Hwang In Roo, who directed popular Korean dramas Princess Hours and The Return of Iljimae will act as the producing director.
