It’s the crossover that we didn’t expect would happen: Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards are working on a project.
However, the project is for a promo for a shampoo brand, not a movie.
Richards posted a photo of the two of them head-to-head, with the caption, “Sino kayang mananalo sa staring contest na to?” [“Who will win in this staring contest?”]

Alonzo also shared a close-up photo of the two.
Earlier this year, the two were spotted in Thailand together. Richards confirmed a project to reporters, saying, “We shot something there for a project, but we cant’ reveal anything yet.”
He added, “I’m such a fan of One More Chance and she knows that. I was starstruck the first time I saw her and John Lloyd Cruz.”
On working with Alonzo, Richards said, “She’s very kind and easy to be with. Being able to work with someone you used to idolize is fun and heartening.”
While it’s not a movie, we hope they and the powers-that-be are considering it!
