Tagaytay Moms and babywearing communities and families once again gather together to celebrate International Babywearing Week this October 2019!
Tagaytay Moms IBW2019 is part of the biggest gathering of babywearing families in the Philippines. It is where families, breastfeeding and attachment parenting advocates come together each year with the aim to protect, promote and support the Filipino tradition of babywearing. International Babywearing Week is an annual outreach event sponsored by Babywearing International where non-profit babywearing groups worldwide are invited to host and participate.
Now on its second year being celebrated in Tagaytay City, Tagaytay Moms proudly presents the Philippines’ 1st Babywearing Cosplay Party 2019, held on October 5, 2019, Saturday at the Activity Center, Fora Mall – Tagaytay, General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay City.
This event is open to all moms and families as well as those who are pregnant and seeking support and knowledge in Motherhood and attachment parenting.
Last 2018 was 1 decade of celebrating International Babywearing Week; 10 beautiful good years of commemorating an age-old practice that was forgotten in the advent of strollers and bassinets.
Tagaytay Moms IBW 2019 will be even bigger and better this year. New and unique activities are planned for the event. There will be a babywearing dance contest, a babywearing cosplay competition, trick or treat for bigger kids as well as interesting and inspiring talks from various experienced moms and child development experts in the country for mothers and their circle of support who want to learn more about motherhood and attachment parenting. As part of the celebration, a JuanderMOM Bazaar featuring prominent baby- and kid-focused retailers will also be held.
