Still on a Riverdale high? Why not get a copy of a Philippine exclusive cover of Archie Comics?
A photo shared by Filbar’s shows a country exclusive cover of Archie and the gang standing in front of the Rizal Monument in Luneta Park.
According to the comic book store, “Filbar’s and Comic Odyssey have joined forces to bring you the very first ARCHIE COMICS Philippine Exclusive cover — masterfully illustrated by Miguel Mercado.”
The cover shows Archie in a Manila shirt, while Betty, Veronica, and Jughead eat Filipino delicacies like halo-halo and isaw.
The issue features comic strips following Archie and his friends in different countries. One strip shows the group visiting Manila for a concert, which first appeared in Archie’s Funhouse Spring Annual in 2017.
Filbar’s added that the cover will be available starting November 2019.
