It seems that Alex Gonzaga had always been a prankster growing up and, apparently, it’s for that same reason that she almost didn’t march at her High School graduation.

On Instagram, the 32-year-old actress shared her story.
“Dear Class of 2020, this was my high school graduation 16 years ago,” she began. “Isa ako sa “mythical 5” kung saan nagkaroon ng debate ang mga teachers and sisters for a month kung kami ay papayagan mag march sa graduation. Ang reason sakin lagi ko daw kasi inaasar ang Filipino teacher namin during class.”
(Translation: I was part of the “mythical 5” about whom the teachers and sisters debated whether or not we’ll be allowed to march during graduation. The reason was I always teased my Filipino teacher during class.)
She remembered how, during the monthlong deliberation while her batchmates were practicing for graduation, she and her other friends had to stay behind in the classroom. “But super nagvolunteer kami na maghelp and assist sa lahat ng teachers (But we volunteered to help and assist all our teachers),” she said. “Thank you Lord 3 days before our graduation day, our principal called us and gave us the good news na yes pwede na kami magmarch (that, yes, we were allowed to march).”

“Ang lesson (The lesson), it’s never too late to show you deserve to march in your graduation.. may chance ka pa ipasa lahat ng kulang mo para makuha diploma, kaya mo yan (…you still have a chance to pass everything you are still lacking to get your diploma, you can do it)!!” she ended.
