LOOK: A peafowl was spotted in Alabang as 2020 continues to get weirder

2020 keeps getting weirder. In the span of one week, we’ve seen animals of all kind on the loose, running the streets of different cities and/or subdivisions. It’s confusing, surreal, and even a little weirdly funny. All our humor has probably warped a little under the quarantine. And we don’t blame anyone–cabin fever can get wild and we all need a good laugh (while, of course, hoping for the safety of these animals–be careful if you see them on the road!).

Well, the South isn’t about to let the North win with its ostrich.

Facebook user Chico Cabalatungan was able to capture a graceful peafowl perched atop a gate in Alabang. But apparently they do wander the village, how cute!

Check out Chico’s post below–the peafowl is so beautiful and graceful, it’s kind of mesmerizing. Look at those feathers!

Chico reassures everyone that the peafowls are well-cared for, which is a relief!
