LOOK: 5 Must-Try Restaurants in Metro Manila

The weekend is fast approaching and you know what it means – food trip! With the countless restaurants and food parks here and there, there’s no need to go to the same place and eat the same food over and over again.

And so, if you’re currently on the hunt for a new spot where you and your friends can just eat, hang out and chill, here’s a list to get you started.

5. Relik Restaurant and Bar

Friday nights are Relik nights! Known for its laid back ambiance for chill drinks and cozy dinners, Relik is a restaurant at BGC that aims to provide a break from the ultra-modern and admittedly loud clubbing scene. A visit here won’t be complete without trying their Carbonara (P235), Slow Roasted Beef Belly (P425), and S’mores Pizza(P189). For drinks, we highly suggest you go for their Mojito which is available in classic, lychee, and mango.

4. Toast Asian Kitchen and Tasting Room

This “retro in the metro”-themed restaurant in Pasig will satisfy your cravings for Asian cuisine. Toast Asian Kitchen and Tasting Room serves a wide array of playful dishes that burst with flavors and spices. And hey, they serve the best Wagyu cubes I’ve ever tasted!

Make sure to try their Longganisa Pasta (P349), Twice Cooked Pork w/ Salted Egg Fried Rice (P 475), and Wagyu Cubes Yakitori (P175). They also have a great selection of signature cocktails to try. Do yourself a favor and get a glass of Jack Sparrow.

This gastro-bar only has eleven tables, hence the name. The place is perfect for those who want to wine and dine or should we say, for those who want a tita night. They serve really good food, such as Bacon Cheddar Cheese Fondue (P420) and Mixed Cold Cuts & Cheese Platter w/ Sausage (P550).

cYou know the best part? They have a wine-all-you-can promo for only 500 pesos!

2. Wicked Kitchen

This restaurant is serving all things wicked! And by wicked, I meant, really good food, from savory dishes to sweet desserts! Their bestsellers include Bangers n Mash (P202) and Bagoong Rice (P 189). Wicked Kitchen is also known for their desserts which are named after the seven deadly sins. Make sure to order Greed (P 188) and Gluttony (P325)!

And before I forget, you might want to try their Ex’s Lasagna and Rebound Lasagna! Interesting, yes?
