Lloyd Cadena is asking the public for help after his Facebook page was reportedly hacked. The appeal was shared through Madam Aivan, a friend and fellow content creator, who posted about the situation on her own Facebook account.
Before his passing in 2020, Lloyd had amassed millions of followers on his page as a vlogger and content creator. The family says the page is now being used for unrelated content, with its profile and cover photos changed to “Coffee News” and posts featuring foreign personalities. Efforts to recover the account have reportedly been unsuccessful.
“Hi, guys! Please help us mass report the page of my dear friend Lloyd. Although this is sad for us, hindi na rin kasi ma retrieve ang page na ‘to. Nanghingi na kami ng tulong dati kahit dun sa friend ko nagwowork dati sa Meta,” Madam Aivan wrote.
The family hopes that reporting the page will prevent further posts unrelated to Lloyd and eventually lead to its removal.
“Ang gusto na lang ng family ni Lloyd is ipa-mass report ang page na ‘to para hindi na magamit sa kung ano-anong posting lalo at it’s just a matter of time bago tuluyang palitan ng hackers ang name ng page ni Lloyd,” she added.
Fans have responded with messages of support and said they plan to report the page. Many also shared that they feel saddened by the situation, recalling memories of Lloyd that remain on the page.
Lloyd Cadena passed away in 2020 due to a heart attack. He had also tested positive for COVID-19 during his hospital admission for high fever and dry cough.
