Looks like Liza Soberano really takes her roles seriously!
As the 19-year-old actress is portraying Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in a story about the beauty queen’s life on a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, she has some pretty big shoes to fill — sky-high heels, in fact!
In preparation for the role, Liza even trained with Aces and Queens, the pageant camp that trained Pia and other winning queens like Miss International 2015 Kylie Versoza, and Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
The actress also got to meet Pia while she trained. Perhaps the pageant queen gave Liza some more insights so she could mirror her more closely!
The MMK episode on Pia’s life will air on June 3, Saturday.
