Calling all fans of ‘Assassin’s Creed’! A live-action adaptation series of Ubisoft’s series will be coming to Netflix soon! According to Netflix, it will be the first of several new series as they tap into the well-known video game’s universe.

There is no showrunner as of yet and not a lot of details have been released about it, but we are hoping to see some great stories across history as we did in the game.
Peter Friedlander, Vice President of Netflix’s Original Series, announced: “From its breathtaking historical worlds and massive global appeal as one of the best selling video game franchises of all time, we are committed to carefully crafting epic and thrilling entertainment based on this distinct IP and provide a deeper dive for fans and our members around the world to enjoy.”
This isn’t the first time Netflix has given us their version of video games on their screen. Just last year, a live-action adaptation series of ‘The Witcher’ was released on the streaming site with a prequel spin-off soon to come. They also announced an animated ‘Resident Evil’ series recently that we cannot wait to see.
