The live-action film of popular anime/manga Hell Girl (also known as Jigoku Shoujo) is officially coming to Philippine theaters!
For those unfamiliar with Hell Girl, it is a Japanese horror about a mysterious website run by a demonic entity through which tormented and bullied people can make the request for their bullies to be taken and dragged down to hell. However, the price of making such a pact with Hell Girl is that the person will also be taken to hell after they die.
The anime first premiered back in 2005 and ran for four seasons. It was then adapted into a live-action movie under the direction of Koji Shiraishi and was released in Japan last November 2019. Watch the trailer below!
According to Click The City, the movie is scheduled to premiere locally on February 26, 2020. It’s unknown where it will be shown.
