In case you haven’t heard, English duo HONNE just launched their latest album, “no song without you,” which features 13 tracks of chill electronic goodness that you can enjoy while lounging at night with a book to read or basking in the sun with a cold drink in hand.
But did you know that among those 13 tracks is — surprise, surprise — a song created in collaboration with widely beloved singer Niki from 88rising?
On Twitter, HONNE shared the story behind their fourth track titled “iloveyoumorethanicansay” which was born after they “bumped” into the Indonesian singer at a recording studio in Los Angeles. They even posted a commemorative photo from that night, leaving fans in a frenzy.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: how could HONNE and Niki have collaborated on a mere 30-second song? Well, HONNE teased: “This song is a clip of a full song we wrote together one night. Maybe one day we’ll finish it off?!?”
They also promised that this won’t be the last we’ll hear of their collab. “We’ve got something extra spicy cooking up for you guys,” they added.
