LISTEN: Frankie Pangilinan Released a New Song and It Got Us Sobbing on the Floor

Frankie Pangilinan just welcomed the new year with a new song, and it’s already got us feeling emo.

Titled “Battlescars,” the song talks about picking yourself up and moving forward, having learned and forgiven, and acknowledging your strength to keep you going. It’s a beautiful ballad that features Kakie’s hauntingly powerful vocals and you can’t help but be swayed by the flurry of emotions being conveyed.

According to her mom Sharon Cuneta, Kakie wrote the song when she was 15 years old. Sharon also confessed that it’s her favorite among all the songs Kakie has written so far. She also posted the lyrics of the song on her Instagram account.
